Rangers defender Clint Hill gave footie fans a night to remember after the club’s Player of the Years Awards by joining them in belting out ‘Follow Follow’.

Hill, 38, took home the John Greig Achievement Award and partied into the wee hours with supporters just hours after Celtic reached the Scottish Cup final after beating Gers 2-0.

In the raucous video, Hill is surrounded by fans as they bellow: “Follow the Blues!”

Fan Greg Bruce who posted the video added: “Clint Hill epitomises Rangers Football Club. You know why? He drank jagers and jumped on my mate’s back for the banter.”

One fan wrote of the video: “Honestly one of the best videos ever don’t know how anyone can moan at it. Players and fans needed a night together to let their hair down.”

The awards dinner took place at the Hilton hotel in Glasgow on Sunday evening.

The defender described himself as “shocked and humbled” after being handed the gong.

He told Rangers TV: “What John has done for the club throughout the years has been incredible and to get such a special award from him is quite humbling.

“When I first walked through those airport doors, I thought, ‘What is going on here?’

“I thought, ‘has someone famous walked out behind me?’ I couldn’t quite grasp the whole concept of it.

“I’m not here for a jolly-up. I’m here to do well and I want to play.”
