Dozens of jobs are to be created by a budget airline in Glasgow.

Jet2.com is looking for 80 pilots, cabin crew and engineers in Glasgow as part of their search to fill 1,000 positions across the UK.

The budget firm has expanded their operations from Glasgow in the last year, and added an eight UK base in Birmingham.

As a result, bosses are now looking for ambitious pilots, budding cabin crew and expert engineers to join their team.

The roles are targeted at experienced pilots with a commercial or military background, aspiring cabin crew who are passionate about customer service and experienced engineers for the airline's EA 145 maintenance programme.

A recruitment roadshow was held at a hotel airport where hundreds people attended in a bid to find their dream jobs.

However the search is still on to fill all the available roles.
