The Fraser Centre has secured a handsome sponsorship deal with M&F Funeral Services that allows it to continue its popular cinema for a third year.

The sponsorship, for £395, allows the likes of Tranent Cinema Club, Baby Cinema and the Alzheimer Scotland Movie & Chat Club to continue to use the Winton Place venue.

David Orr, development manager at The Fraser Centre, is delighted to have secured sponsorship once more.

He said: “This sponsorship is vital to allow us to continue screening films and we would like to thank M&F Funeral Services for their continued support.

“Our cinema audiences are going from strength to strength and we look forward to programming even more films through 2015.” A spokesman for M&F added: “M&F Funeral Services firmly believe that we offer the best service at the best price but service is not restricted to our clients. Service includes service to the community and we are pleased and honoured to support The Fraser Centre.

“We are proud of all of our members of staff and Barbara Innes, our local representative in Tranent, is doing an outstanding job taking care of our clients and working for the benefit of the community.

“We wish The Fraser Centre all the very best.”
