A TRANENT man who sparked a police search after going missing from his home on Tuesday has been found safe and well.
Concern for Shaun Borrett, 41, Steading View, was raised after he disappeared just a day after speaking to his monther on the phone.
Police launched an appeal for help finding Shaun, who was believed to be travelling in his black Mazda Sport car.
Earlier today Police Scotland issued a photograph of a car similar to the one they believed he was driving.
However the force has confirmed that Mr Borrett has now been traced and thanks the public for their help.
A spokesperson said: "Police in East Lothian can confirm that missing Tranent man, Shaun Borrett has been traced safe and well.
Thanks to all who assisted with our appeal."
