A POLICE hunt was launched for a teenager after he allegedly absconded while being transported through Edinburgh today.
Conlon Carr, 19, was being taken to St Leonard's Police Station when it was alleged he escaped G4S security officers at 11.25am.
He was found near the Craigmillar Castle area of the city just after 2.25pm.
Police thanked members of the public for their help tracing Carr, who has links with East Lothian.
A report into the incident will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
