A 3G community sports pitch has become the latest victim of fireraisers in an East Lothian town.
Police are appealing for witnesses after what they described as a "spate of fires" in Tranent.
They said the most recent was at the 3G pitch at Foresters Park, where damage was discovered on Sunday morning when players arrived.
A photograph of the damage was posted by Police Scotland showing the scorched area of the pitch and empty alcohol bottles.
The deliberate atttack on the pitch came after a former GP surgery building on Church Street, in the town, was deliberately set ablaze on Friday morning.
And it follows reports of a string of incidents where garden sheds have been set alight in the Coalgate area.
Police Constable Jacqueline Maurer of Tranent Police Station said of the most recent fires: “These fires caused considerable damage and pose a significant risk to the public, as well as impacting on a community sports pitch.
“Anyone with further information or who can help us identify those involved should contact police immediately.”
Those with information can contact Tranent Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 1454 of 3 September.
Alternatively, an anonymous report can be made through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
