SPORTING achievements in Tranent were recognised at an awards ceremony where Walk With Scott Foundation founder Scott Glynn received a special accolade.

Scott was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award from Tranent and District Community Sport Club at its annual ceremony, which was held in Ross High Rugby Club.

The veteran fundraiser and comedian – who requires a liver transplant – sported an eyepatch as he attended just days after being admitted to hospital and diagnosed with Bell’s palsy.

The evening saw sporting success and community work recognised by the club.
