Man is due in court
A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted armed robbery at the Co-operative store in Ormiston last month.
Police said the man was due to appear in court later today following the incident.
Officers appealed for witnesses after the incident at the village shop on Sunday, February 19.
The man is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
