TWO men have been arrested and charged after drugs worth over £13,000 were found in a house in Moir Avenue, Musselburgh on Tuesday.
Police executed a warrant at an address on Moir Avenue and found a three-plant cannabis cultivation, a quantity of heroin and herbal cannabis.
Officers also recovered nearly 7,000 diazepam tablets, over £1,500 in cash and various drug paraphernalia.
Two air rifles and a crossbow were also among the items seized.
The men, aged 23, were subsequently arrested and charged and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Wednesday).
Chief Inspector Matt Paden said: “The information we receive from the public is invaluable and has allowed officers to remove a significant quantity of drugs, as well as a number of weapons, from the community.
“We would urge anyone with concerns to contact Police Scotland on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, where the information they provide will be treated with the strictest confidence and used to keep our communities safe.”
