A MAN has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal after turning up at a police station to complain about the quality of his cannabis, only to be found in possession of the drug.
Constable Lynn Black told Haddington’s community council that the man turned up at the station, on the town’s Court Street on February 16.
He allegedly complained about the quality of the Class B drug only to then be charged with possessing of the drug.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland told the Courier: “Police in Haddington arrested and charged a 49-year-old man with drug offences after he came into the police station on February 16.
“A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and he will appear in court at a later date.”
