TWO county restaurants have this week picked up awards at the Scottish Restaurant Awards in Edinburgh's Ghillie Dhu.
North Berwick's family-run Osteria claimed the Best Italian Restaurant of the Year prize due to its delivery of classic Italian dishes with an emphasis on seafood, having been a finalist in the category before.
The Waterside Bistro in Haddington was voted Best Family Friendly Restaurant of the Year, in no small part to its secret toy cupboard, separate children's menu and a selection of half-sized portions from the main menu.
