A family quiz day raised £300 for brain injury charity Headway East Lothian on Sunday.
The quiz, in the Thorntree Inn, Cockenzie, was just one part of the day which ran from 2pm until 7pm, including a buffet, raffle and musical entertainment.
Funds raised will be added to Fiona Grant-MacDonald’s fundraising efforts for the charity this year.
Fiona, who organised the venue and music, is taking part in an Alternative 3 Peaks challenge in August and hopes to raise up to £2,000 for Headway.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “Thanks to Fiona for organising the venue and providing the musical entertainment, to Irene Grant for selling lots of tickets and promoting the event, to the Thorntree Inn for providing the venue and the buffet, and to all who attended.” Winners of the quiz were Scrambled Egg Heads.
