A PORT Seton couple have toasted 75 years of wedded bliss.
Charlie and Margaret Mack, from Thomson Crescent, tied the knot on January 27 1940 at Edinburgh Registry Office.
Charlie worked as a miner, while his wife of 75 years worked alongside her brother in a fishmonger’s shop.
The happy couple have two daughters, as well six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Margaret said: “I don’t know if there is any secret to a long marriage, we just like to take it day-to-day.”
