RESIDENTS will be able to see the proposals for a new substation bringing electricity ashore from a planned offshore wind farm next week.
Inch Cape Offshore Limited , which is behind the proposals, will hold public consultation events at Prestonpans Community Centre on Wednesday and the Longniddry Inn on Thursday, between 2pm and 8pm.
The proposed onshore substation would be situated south-east of Cockenzie, between the Cockenzie Power Station coal store and the B1361.
