£2.3k cocaine stash discovered

TWO men have been charged after cocaine with a street value of more than £2,000 was discovered in a Prestonpans property.

Approximately 60g of cocaine, with a street value of £2300, and £3,700 cash was found by Lothian and Borders Police officers at a property on Atholl View last Friday.

Two men, aged 44 and 48, have been charged in relation to suspected drug offences following the discovery of Class A drugs and cash in a property in Prestonpans, East Lothian.

The men were to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court yesterday (Monday).
