THIEVES went on a spree in Prestonpans targeting sheds, garages and vehicles, police said.
A string of incidents in the town last week are being linked.
Police said among items taken were alcohol and a black specialised mountain bike.
Three break-ins were reported between 11pm on Monday and 9am Tuesday in Polwarth Terrace with a further three between 4.30pm Wednesday and 8am Thursday in Grange Crescent West and surrounding area.
Inspector Andrew Harborow said: "These incidents are likely linked and we have several lines of inquiry. I would appeal to anyone with any information that may be able to help with our investigation to contact police, or report this anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers as soon as possible.
"I would also appeal to the residents of Prestonpans to keep a look out for any suspicious activity and ensure that their homes, sheds, garages and vehicles are secured properly."
Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
