A TEENAGE gang has been arrested in connection with a string of thefts from garages and garden sheds in Prestonpans.
Police said two 14-year-olds, a 16 year-old and 17-year-old have all been reported in connection with at least 18 thefts from private properties in the town over the last month.
An 18-year-old male has also been arrested and charged with reset.
A report on the incident will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
A community police officer said: "We are confident we have identified the group involved in these thefts."
