A THIEF broke into a house in Port Seton and stole jewellery and computer equipment before making off in a stolen car.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the break-in at a house in Cedar Drive, on Sunday afternoon.
They said an orange Ford Focus was taken from the property along with the items taken from within the house.
Officers said the break-in happened between 3pm and 7.20pm.
It comes just three weeks after a similiar break-in to a house two streets away saw another car taken.
The break-in at Poplar Park, saw jewellery, electrical equipment and a BMW X3 taken from the property.
Sergeant Derek MacDonald said: "We'd like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Cedar Drive on Sunday, February 5,and who saw anything suspicious.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101."
