A GOAT on a boat in North Berwick is set to become a TV star in Norway!
East Lothian Yacht Club was approached by Sky about having someone film on an old wooden boat in North Berwick, and that request soon developed into needing a goat to be on the boat.
The unusual request was made as the TV giants filmed scenes of a Norwegian comedy drama off the coast of the town.
And local sailor Robbie Wightman was on hand to help, as he provided his 1930s boat, Paragon, while the goat (pictured) came from East Links Family Park, near Dunbar.
It was not the first time the sailor has been involved in a major production.
He said: “I once played the Ukranian leader of the Antarctic Survey in a Radio 3 play. I had two lines.
“I think that tops my boat being in a Scandi Noir, although I’m not sure!” The footage is set to hit Scandinavian television screens in the autumn.
