EIGHT cars parked on one North Berwick street were all vandalised in the same night.
Police are appealing for witnesses following vandalism to the cars on Craigleith Avenue in North Berwick between 8.30pm on Saturday and 11am on Sunday.
It is believed a tool was used to scratch the door panels.
Inspector Ian Mackay said: "This type of crime is unusual to North Berwick but anyone who remembers seeing any suspicious activity around Craigleith Avenue on Saturday night or Sunday morning is urged to come forward.
"This type of mindless vandalism is costly to the owners of the vehicles and we are keen to trace those responsible as quickly as possible." Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101, or make an anonymous report through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
