DESIGNER sunglasses were stolen. . . from a shopper in North Berwick Co-op.
Police are investigating another spate of thefts from the store on North Berwick High Street.
Three incidents took place last month. Two involved the theft of alcohol and the third saw a female shopper having her designer sunglasses stolen while she was in the store.
The first incident occurred on February 22 at about 7.30pm when a man and woman entered the store and stole alcohol. They have both been identified and a report is being sent to the procurator fiscal.
Three days later, the female shopper had her sunglasses taken. Enquiries are ongoing.
Then on February 28, police received a report of a man having stolen alcohol. The store has regularly been targeted by thieves.
Enquiries are still ongoing, and anyone with information should contact police on 101.
