THE DRIVER of a Fiat had to be taken to hospital after the vehicle was involved in a collision with a BMW on the outskirts of North Berwick this morning.
The vehicles impacted shortly before 9am outside the Tantallon Road entrance of Tantallon Caravan Park.
Police said the driver was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary as a precaution following the incident, which left debris strewn across the road.
The road remained open following the crash which was reported at 8.45am.
