A FORMER Leuchie House volunteer returned to the centre last week to put a team through their paces ahead of Total Warrior.
Jacki Tout, a personal trainer and boot camp instructor, led a session on Thursday to get the eight-strong team ready for the gruelling Total Warrior obstacle course, at Balgone Estate next month.
Jacki put the team through a range of exercises, and was thrilled to be of assistance.
She said: "I was delighted to be in a position to offer an additional strength and conditioning session to prepare the Warriors for their challenge ahead.
"Leuchie is an amazing local charity which I’m happy to support wherever I can. Very best of luck to the Total Warrior team.
"With their enthusiasm and determination, they’ll do brilliantly.”
Tracy Lonie, events and community fundraiser at Leuchie, added: "We’re so pleased that another Leuchie team has risen to the Total Warrior challenge. Last year, the event raised over £8,000 for Leuchie which is a great addition to our ongoing fundraising efforts. As ever, we’d welcome any support people can offer."
To support Team Leuchie at Total Warrior, on September 10, text LEUCH13 £5 to 70070 to make a £5 donation.
