Festival reaches climax

Musselburgh Festival concludes this weekend, with always popular fancy dress parade through the town tonight (Friday).

Lorries and participants will assemble in Ashgrove at 6.15pm.

The route starts at Pinkie Road, Newbigging to Town Hall, High Street, New Stone Bridge, Bridge Street to Ship Inn, right into Harbour Road, right at the Harbour and down New Street to the end at Fisherrow Links where all participants are invited to 'The Event in the Tent' disco.

Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the Riders' Breakfast in the Masonic Lodge, Balcarres Street, followed by the Rideout from Pinkie House at 9am. Riders should assemble at 8.15am.

The week concludes with the Annual Dinner in the Eskmills Function Suite at 7pm.
