THE road from Musselburgh to Old Craighall has been temporarily closed after a car collided with a lamppost.
Police said no-one was seriously injured in the one-vehicle accident which happened shortly after 9am.
However the road has been closed after the lamppost came crashing down, leaving exposed wires and debris across both lanes.
The accident happened on the B6415 at the roundabout between Musselburgh and Old Craighall.
A police spokesperson said the road would remain closed until East Lothian Council was able to remove the fallen post.
