POLICE are hunting thieves who targeted sheds at three houses in Musselburgh, stealing an electric bike from one of them.
Officers said three sheds were broken into, or attempts made to gain entrance, in the Edinburgh Road area overnight last Friday.
The electric bike, described as a black and silver Carrera Crossfire, was stolen from one of the properties.
And in a separate incident a KTM Trials motorcycle was stolen from a house in Linkfield Road between Monday, March 27, and Saturday, April 1.
A police spokesperson said: "Anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the areas between these times, or who has any information on the whereabouts of the stolen bikes, is urged to contact us via 101 or report this info anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
"We continue to urge people to be vigilant at all times when securing their property and advice is available from your local community ward officer."
