AN INVESTIGATION is under way after a suspicious fire in the early hours of Monday morning.
Musselburgh’s firefighters were called out at about 2am after reports of a scooter on fire on the town’s Edenhall Road.
The fire was extinguished using a high-pressure hose and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service requested the assistance of Police Scotland.
A police spokesman confirmed that inquiries were ongoing and the fire was being treated as suspicious.
