A MEXICAN restaurant – believed to be the first in East Lothian – opened its doors for the first time today (Tuesday).
Habaneros, on Musselburgh High Street, is billed as "street food" and serves a variety of Mexican dishes.
The opening of the Musselburgh store follows on from the success of its first store in Falkirk.
In a message on their Facebook page, posted on Monday evening Habeneros said: "We will be officially opening our doors to the wonderful people of Musselburgh as of 11am tomorrow [Tuesday].
"We will be serving burritos, naked burritos, tacos, chunky beef chilli nachos and quesadillas, along with a selection of Mexican beers, lovely wine and frozen margaritas.
"Our freshly made food is great to takeaway or sit in, whatever suits your occasion."
