THE four-way traffic light system at the Wallyford Toll roundabout will be back for a week in November for completion of a new-look road linking Dolphingstone and Wallyford.
There is now a two-way system in place as different work is carried out to install a new roundabout and access routes, in connection with a development of 1,500 houses being built at St Clements Wells, Wallyford. Motorists have been getting a taste of the new roundabout at Strawberry Corner.

A spokesman for East Lothian Council said: “The developer’s contractors are due back in mid-November, when four-way lights will be back in place. The work is expected to last only a week, weather-depending, then the new road will be complete.”
