AN East Lothian ice-cream maker has been playing with tastebuds after coming up with some surreal ice-cream for the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
Di Rollo, of Musselburgh's creations include mint green-coloured strawberry ice-cream, yellow coconut and purple banana ice-creams, a blue lemon sorbet and a red mint chocolate chip, and is being sold from the Edinburgh gallery's Bothy.
And it is expected to prove a big hit this weekend when it holds its annual family fun day.
The introduction of the confusing ice-creams are part of the gallery's Surreal Encounters: Collecting the Marvellous summer exhibition.
It also offers people tantalising toppings including candied chilli to add to the flavour sensation.
Di Rollo warned customers: "Don't be fooled, all is not what it seems," as it launched the range.
