HEROIN has been recovered after police watched two people acting suspiciously while on patrol.
Yesterday (Wednesday), officers on patrol in the High Street area of Musselburgh observed two men acting suspiciously.
They subsequently recovered a three-figure sum of cash and a quantity of heroin worth £350.
Two men, aged 25 and 28, have been arrested and charged, and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Chief Inspector Matt Paden, Local Area Commander for East Lothian, said: "Thanks to the proactive work of officers within the community, further Class A drugs continue to be seized as part of Operation Fusion.
"Anyone with information about drugs in their community is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or make an anonymous report through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 11 555."
