A MAN has appeared in court after an incident outside a pub during last month's Old Firm clash.

Police said the man was one of two thrown out of The Anchor in Musselburgh High Street as the match was being shown live on Sunday, April 17.

Police were called to the scene after the 22-year-old allegedly threw a glass, smashing a window of the pub, as he stood outside.

Officers described the incident as a "fracas" and confirmed: "A 22-year-old man has appeared in Edinburgh Sheriff Court charged in connection with vandalism allegations."
