MUSSELBURGH MSP Colin Beattie will defend his seat at Holyrood next year after he was confirmed as the SNP candidate by the party’s Midlothian North & Musselburgh Constituency Association.
Ruth Currie, Constituency Association convener, said Mr Beattie had received 100 per cent support from all three branches in his constituency.
Mr Beattie said: “It’s been a tremendous privilege to have had the opportunity to represent the residents of Musselburgh for over four years now.”
