HADDINGTON’S John Gray Centre will officially be opened by a royal visit next month – more than two years after it first opened its doors.
Prince Richard of Gloucester, who is the Queen’s cousin, will join East Lothian’s Lord Lieutenant, Major Michael Williams.
After being introduced to various county dignitaries, the Prince will visit the museum’s First World War exhibition and meet members of the centre’s staff. He will then unveil a plaque in the Archives Section, commemorating the formal opening.
