Man dies after being hit by lorry

A 35-YEAR-OLD man from Haddington has died following a collision with a lorry on the Edinburgh City Bypass last Friday night.

Lothian and Borders Police have confirmed that the victim of the fatal road crash was Paul Coutts, of Monk Mains Road.

Mr Coutts died as a result of injuries he sustained after being involved in a collision with a lorry at around 11.40pm.

Officers continue to investigate the full circumstances surrounding the incident and anyone who can assist officers with their enquiries is asked to come forward.
