Weather warnings remain in place in East Lothian with sub zero temperatures expected to continue through this weekend.
The Met Office has a yellow ice warning for the county with sub-zero temperatures expected to continue.
The freezing conditions have seen parts of the River Tyne freeze over, as seen in this stunning image taken by reader Alice Mercer in Haddington.
Weather experts believe things will warm up slightly with predictions temperatures will reach as high as seven degrees celsius on Monday with a low of just three degrees.
