A HADDINGTON woman who broke a court-imposed anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) has been placed on supervision.

Michelle Bathgate was handed the order at Edinburgh Sheriff Court in January, banning her from banging on walls and doors and within the common stairwell at her former home on the town’s Florabank Road.

But just three months later, Bathgate was heard by neighbours repeatedly shouting and swearing while within her flat.

She was also heard kicking and banging doors during the disturbance on April 1.

The 46-year-old returned to Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Tuesday where she admitted breaching the ASBO.

Bathgate, now of Artillery Park, Haddington, was placed on supervision for the next 12 months and a review of her progress will be heard at the court on August 29.
