THIEVES have stolen a washer dryer from an empty house just weeks after a hob and cooker were taken from the same street.
New houses which are being built at Cranston Way, in Haddington, have been targeted twice in as many months.
Police said keys for a property on the site were taken and used to access it on March 23, when the £900 washer dryer was taken.
The hob and cooker were stolen from another property on February 13, and were estimated to be worth around £250.
