THIEVES stole nearly 300 rolls from outside a local shop.
Police are investigating after dozens of rolls were taken from outside Rosehall Stores, in Haddington.
Officers were called to the Pencaitland Road shop after the theft was discovered on Tuesday, September 20.
Police Constable Lynn Black told Haddington Community Council that approximately 280 rolls were taken.
She said: "A positive line of enquiry is being pursued with regards identifying male culprits."
