MASKED men broke into four properties on Dunbar High Street in the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday).
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incidents, which happened at about 4.40am.
Among the properties hit were Graze Coffee and Chocolate House and Dunbar Community Bakery.
CCTV is understood to have captured three men wearing balaclavas in the area at the time of the incidents.
They are believed to have been driving a silver BMW.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police received reports of four housebreakings which occurred around 4.40am on Monday on High Street in Dunbar.
“Officers are now looking to trace three men who were seen in the area at the time of the incidents in a silver or grey BMW.
“Anyone with information which can assist officers with their enquiries is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
