INVESTIGATIONS are under way after a set of underwear was stolen from a washing line on Dunbar’s Shore Street.
The unusual theft was reported at the town’s community council meeting on Monday night.
Constable Gavin Ross was unable to attend the meeting, but included a report of incidents in the town over the last month.
It read: “On the evening of February 1, a set of underwear was stolen from a washing line on Shore Street, one of a number of similar thefts, which are being enquired into.” Call police on 101 with info, or report it anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
