A DUNBAR woman has been ordered by a court to stop making comments on social media about her neighbours.
Caitlyn Reid, 20, has been handed an interim anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) which bans her from making excessive noise, playing loud music, and from displaying aggressive and abusive behaviour and language, which includes social media postings directed towards her neighbours.
Reid, of Goldenstones Avenue, was given the interim order by the courts after an approach by East Lothian Council.
A council spokesperson said: “The interim ASBO served on Ms Reid highlights a range of anti-social behaviour she has carried out which has affected her neighbours including insulting and abusive comments on social media.
"East Lothian Council has strong anti-social behaviour policies to deal with actions that have negative effects on others and will continue to pursue legal options when considered appropriate.”
