A 29-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after a two-car collision on the A1 last week which sent one vehicle onto the central reservation.
The crash happened at around 4.45pm on Thursday as the vehicles were travelling east towards the A1087 junction near the Dunbar cement plant.
One lane was closed for two hours as police cleared debris and recovered one of the vehicles - a Ford Fiesta - which came to a rest on the central reservation.
Police Scotland said no-one was seriously injured in the incident, which also involved a Skoda Octavia car.
A spokesperson said: "A 29-year-old male driver was subsequently charged in connection with alleged careless driving and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
