ARMED police were called out to Longniddry yesterday (Tuesday) evening.
More than half a dozen police cars were called to the village’s Cotlands Park at about 5.45pm.

Other emergency services vehicles were also pictured at the scene.
Officers remained on scene until late in the night.
Reports online suggested an armed police officer was on top of a garage at a property.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland took to social media last night said: “Around 5.45pm on Tuesday, May 7, we were called to a report of concern for a person at a property on Cotlands Park in Longniddry.
“Officers remain at the scene.
“We’d like to reassure the public there is no wider risk.”
