A DOCUMENTARY, traditional Scottish music and storytelling are all being arranged as part of a charity’s bid to combat loneliness.
National Demystifying Death Week takes place next week and aims to give people the skills and opportunities to plan for and support each other through death, loss and grief.
Throughout the week, North Berwick Coastal Community Connections is holding a range of events to inspire people to talk about the sensitive yet essential topic.
Events include an evening of traditional Scottish music and storytelling celebrating life with internationally renowned musician Ciaran Ryan, award-winning singer/songwriter Joss Cameron and storyteller Jess Smith, at St Andrew Blackadder Church on Friday at 7pm.
The following day, there will be a screening of the documentary Dead Good, with a question-and-answer session with the film’s director/producer Rehana Rose, from 1pm at the Abbey Church.
Events are free to attend; to book a ticket, email admin@nbc-communityconnections.org
