A MAN who stamped on another man’s head has been told he must wear an electronic tag for the next four months.

Anton Rennie, 21, attacked Hayden McDonald by seizing him by the body and forcing him to the ground at North High Street, Musselburgh, on May 14, 2022.

Rennie then assaulted the man to his injury by stamping on his head during the incident.

Rennie, of Old Craighall, pleaded guilty to the assault charge last December and was sentenced at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Friday.

Sheriff Kevin McCarron sentenced Rennie to an electronic monitoring order where he will have to wear the tag and stay within his home between 7pm and 7am each night for the next four months.
