DETAILED plans for a skatepark, climbing wall and bowling alley on the outskirts of Dunbar will be revealed this summer.
Proposals for a multi-million-pound facility at Dunbear Point, between the East Coast Main Line and the A1, were revealed at the end of last year.
A second consultation event had been expected to take place at the town’s Hallhill Sports Centre last month.
However, theSpace Scotland CIC, which is behind the plans, confirmed the second event would now take place this summer.

A spokesperson for the group said: “We would rather get it right and do it properly than rush ahead.
“Realistically, we are looking at maybe June or July.
“We are still intent on submitting an application this year.”
Drawings have shown that the venue could be home to a flexible rehearsal space and performance auditorium suitable for cinema, gigs and theatre.
At the same time, the building could become host to an indoor and outdoor skatepark, indoor bouldering climbing walls, four 10-pin bowling lanes, indoor and outdoor cafe, bar and social spaces.
