A COUNTY convenience store has appealed for witnesses after beer was allegedly stolen from the store.

Day-Today Wallyford, on Salters Road, took to Facebook to express frustration following the alleged thefts on Saturday, sharing CCTV images of the individuals they believed had stolen the goods.

The store wrote: “Sad we got these two in the shop today and they stole Tennent's and a 12-pack of Corona. And we [think] that one of them tried to break in to the shop last year.

“If you guys know any of them, please let us know. That would be a great help.”

It comes after the store posted last week about further thefts and alleged incidents of racial abuse from a group of youngsters.
