A NEW bar and kitchen could be set to open its doors in the centre of Haddington.

Ozy's Kitchen has taken to social media to promote their upcoming opening on the town's Court Street.

The premises were previously home to the town’s procurator fiscal office.

Planning permission was given to transform the building into a café/bistro almost a decade ago.

However, progress has been slow and no business has ever opened its doors – despite various assurances that it was close to doing so.

Now, a post from Ozy’s Kitchen Haddington reads: “We are excited to announce that we will be opening a new café in the heart of Haddington, East Lothian.

“We will be bringing the most welcoming and enjoyable experience to all our coffee lovers.

“Keep your eyes opened for the opening date.”

Barista positions are available and the business is urging people to sending in their CVs.
