A PERSON needed medical treatment after being injured while walking at Traprain Law on Tuesday evening.
Coastguard teams from Dunbar and North Berwick were called out to the incident.
A spokesperson for the team from Dunbar took to social media yesterday (Wednesday) to highlight the incident.
They said: "Dunbar Coastguard alongside North Berwick Coastguard were tasked last night to assist Scottish Ambulance Service to extract an injured walker from Traprain Law.
"We wish them a speedy recovery.
"Congratulations to the three new Coastguard rescue officers from Dunbar for whom this was their first incident response."
